MEET THE FOUNDER
NATVRAL® was founded by retired athlete turned entrepreneur David Watson alongside senior M.Sc. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Software Engineers. Dave is an award-winning product designer, former Elite National Mountain Bike Champion, World Cup athlete, and top-ranked Red Bull Rampage and International Freeride competitor. Dave is a rider for life - and likes to think he still shreds'. It's in his DNA, and raising a young family of shredders of his own, with his amazing wife Carmen, he's never happier than when exploring the mountains with his little posse while dreaming up ways to improve products in the mountain Lab.
When Dave isn't riding, he's also a seasoned business leader. As a recipient during his days at the helm of Sombrio he was awarded Business in Vancouver's Top 40 under 40 CEO Award with 20 years of product and design expertise. Fast forward a decade, and one of Dave’s new endeavours is NATVRAL®.
Early days of the concept, Dave was plagued with injuries from years on the tour and felt that seating dynamics could be significantly improved to help rider comfort and performance. The project was aptly named Project LOAM for the duration of stealth mode. Fast forward to today and the emergence of NATVRAL® Technologies.
NATVRAL® systems utilize dynamic independent seat tilt and ride height control solutions that significantly increase rider power transmission and improve cadence while in motion. These systems help riders achieve better control, fluidity, and safety throughout their entire ride, leading to increased comfort, reduced pain, and improved ergonomics. For competitive riders, this means more championships when the clock is ticking. For Sunday riders, it means an improved overall experience for those who ride purely for the joy of it.

NATVRAL® spun off from a Research, Design, and Development firm structured to scope and conduct feasibility studies and monetization of emerging business concepts and technologies in their respective go-to-market sectors. One of the firm's debut technologies, operating in stealth mode, is the recently patented full-stack tilter and dropper post systems—the brainchild of founder David Watson and a team of engineers in Vancouver, BC.
At NATVRAL®, product development requires delivering performance-oriented, reliable, and technologically advanced products while overcoming market challenges. Our patented and licensed NATVRAL Full-Tilt ™ systems redefine seat positioning in multiple ways: longer rides, more comfort in the mountains, increased mileage, and more time for après. It also means customization to suit your riding style, allowing you to ride longer, get fitter, and go faster with more control and fluidity through on-demand tilt and height control.
