Our software is where a huge part of our competitive edge lives: the control algorithms, product logic, and infrastructure that make our systems perform, feel, and scale the way they do. Keeping that code in private repositories with tight access controls protects the years of R&D and hard-won know-how that differentiate us from the rest of the market. It also dramatically reduces the risk of accidental information leakage—credentials, infrastructure details, or security weaknesses that could be exploited if left in the open.
Internal practices
Repos as critical assets
Internally, we treat our repos as critical assets. Infrastructure, deployment scripts, proprietary control code, and business logic live in locked-down repos with strong security practices: branch protection, mandatory reviews, least-privilege access, and automated secret scanning. Access is granted on a need-to-do-your-job basis, and every integration with external systems goes through explicit design and security review. This lets us move fast without compromising safety.
Partner integration
Software handshakes,
not open vaults.
We know great products are built with partners. For strategic partners and key customers, we don’t open the vault—we design clear software “handshakes.” That means well-defined APIs, SDKs, and integration layers that are stable, documented, and versioned.
Where it makes sense, we may publish client libraries, sample code, or tools so partners can build on top of our platform without ever needing direct access to the proprietary core. This gives partners the velocity they need while protecting the IP that makes the platform valuable.
